Summary:
The production operator may be involved in more than one process including cleaning (remove excess foam and build up on the molds), spraying (applying release agent to the mold to prevent the foamed part from sticking to the mold or thepart being burned), demolding (removal of parts from the molds and visually inspect for voids, tears, out of channel or missing wires), or inlaying (accurately inlaying wires, hard foam, fleeces and frames into molds).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Remove excess foam and build up from mold by scrubbing with a tuffy and/or plastic pick.
o Identify nonconforming material and properly dispose of the material.
o Communicate quality issues to operators on the line, and/or process, shift lead and supervisor.
o Spray mold using a hand operated sprayer.
o Spray mold with hand held air gun to clean off excess flash left from parts.
o Remove a quality part from the molds.
o Able to identify when a mold needs more or less release agent to avoiding sticking and ripping of parts being removed from the mold.
o Correctly place material into molds prior to foaming process.
o Identify nonconforming material and properly dispose of the material.
o Communicate quality issues to operators on the line, and/or process, shift lead and supervisor.
Additional duties as needed and assigned.

o Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) o Must be able to reach top of mold for cleaning purposes.
o Ability to read barcode label and match it with corresponding part.
o Ability to distinguish which parts are used on each mold.
EDUCATION AND/OR
Experience:
Employee must have working knowledge of manufacturing maintenance.
The individual will be responsible for leading maintenance systems, overseeing the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process and executing long term strategicplans.
Must be self-motivated and possess well developed leadership skills.
Minimum Requirement:
o High School Diploma/GED o Ability to read and interpret work instructions/general production information written and communicated in English.
Preferred:
o 1 year of manufacturing experience LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets basic instructions and required documents.
Has the ability to respond and communicatecomplicated instruction and basic directions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic mathematics.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normal amount of sitting and standing, above average mobility to move around an office and plant environment, able to conduct normal amount of work on a computer.
o Works with supervisor and shift lead.
o May have interaction with quality, process and maintenance personnel.
o Works as a team with fellow employees on the production line.
