Calibration/Electronics Technician

Insight Global is looking for a Calibration Technician to join one of their customers located in Duncan, SC.
This role is located onsite in Duncan, SC with 10% travel to customer sites (within driving distance).
All travel expenses are paid for and company car is provided for traveling locally as well.
Day to day, the calibration technician will be performing calibration and repair on various electronic and electro-mechanical M&TE (measuring and test equipment), as well as following industry standards (ISO), policies and procedures, and specifications for accurate calibration.
All repairs and calibrations must be documented properly and verified.
The technician should have a strong understanding of uncertainties and tolerances (TARaccuracy ratio and TAUuncertainty ratio), and general familiarity with ISO9001/ISO17025.
This person should also be knowledgeable on how to use and program multimeters to include Keysight's 3458A and Fluke's 8588A, and comfortability with various electronic equipment:
Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Data Loggers, Hipot Testers, Clamp Meters, Power Supplies, Pressure/Vacuum, Temperature/Humidity, Time interval and Frequency Counters.
The hours for this role is 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed with travel.
Minimum Requirements10 years experience in calibration/metrology positionAt least 3-5 years experience in a commercial environmentFamiliarity with ISO/IEC17025 (A2LA/NVLAP) Accreditation and ISO9001 Familiarity with tolerances and uncertainties, and how to calculateKnowledge of various electronic equipment such as:
multimeters, oscilloscopes, data loggers, hipot testers, temperature/humidity, etc.
Comfortability traveling as needed (10%) Desired SkillsAssociates or Bachelors in Electronics, Metrology, or similarPrevious military experience is a plus (PMEL) Recommended Skills Calculations Calibration Electromechanics Electronics Frequency Counter Test Equipment Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
