DescriptionA custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the store and the surrounding area.
This includes but is not limited to the following
Responsibilities:
keeping the grounds area clean, emptying trash receptacles, taking out cardboard, cleaning restrooms, washing windows, replacing and/or cleaning filters, deep cleaning equipment, wiping down walls, keeping shelves clean, helping as needed with the organization of supplies, cleaning the ice machines, communicating any maintenance issues that need to be addressed, etc.
Requirements:
the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
the ability to lift and move over 50 pounds.
knowledge of different cleaning products.
organizational skills.
good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
the ability to work with minimal supervision.
